Connected Books

I don't typically write single, stand alone books. I don't think I have it in me to do it. I've tried to write a book with just two characters in it, but I often fail, dragging in brothers or sisters or best friends who bonk me on the head demanding their own stories, thus resulting in a series of three or four or five books, sometimes more. There's just something about a family of books that appeals to me. I love revisiting characters, love having a secondary character pummel me incessantly about when he or she is going to get their own story. (Okay, maybe I don't love that part so much.)

Below are lists of books in order of series as well as character lists within each book. The list will be updated as new books are added.

The Boots and Bouquets Series

The three Belllini sisters, along with their parents, own the Red Moss Vineyard in Central Oklahoma. The family not only grows grapes to create their own wine, they also host weddings on site at the winery.

Brenna, Erin and Honor assist with the winery as well as manage the wedding business, while also juggling their complicated love lives.

Wine and weddings! Mix the two together and love just might happen.

The Play-by-Play Series

The Play-by-Play series is a steamy, sexy peek into the world of sports as seen through the Riley family. Mick Riley is a professional football player, his brother Gavin plays baseball. Their sister Jenna runs the family sports bar and doesn’t want anything to do with any guy involved with sports. Their parents are heavily involved in their lives and it’s a loving, tight knit family.

The Play-by-Play series has since expanded beyond the Rileys to include new characters. Hot, sexy talented men who bonded together at college and remained friends beyond, as well as a new family dynasty—the Cassidys—four brothers bonded by sports and their love of family. I hope you’re going to love these characters as much as you’ve loved and embraced my Riley family.

I love sports. I have mad love for football, both pro as well as college. Come Fall you’ll find me planted in front of the television on the weekends to watch the Oklahoma Sooners play on Saturday and the St. Louis Rams play on Sunday. I grew up in St. Louis so Cardinals baseball has always been a big part of my life (Cardinals football was, too, before they moved to Arizona). I still remember as a kid watching one sport on television while my dad would listen to the other sport on the radio. I’m a big fan of NASCAR racing, and world cup soccer. My older son played soccer from the time he was five years old all the way through varsity soccer in high school. While I can’t catch a ball, kick a ball or throw a ball worth a damn, I love to watch it all.

So having the chance to write a sports series has been a dream come true for me. And what better way to showcase my love for all things sports than to write this series. Hot, sexy, determined to have it all—their successes and their failures pave the way to the biggest win of their lives—that elusive happily ever after.

The Hope Contemporary Romance Series

This is a series I’ve wanted to write for a long time. I live in a small town in northeast Oklahoma, and though I haven’t modeled any of my characters after people I know, I love small town life. I love the simplicity of it. I love being so remote that I can lie in my hammock at night and see every star in the sky, followed by days where you can sit in your back yard and hear the birds singing. I like knowing people are so friendly they’ll stop and help you when you need it no matter what’s going on with their own lives.

The Hope Series is a small town contemporary romance series. Hope is a fictional small town situated in northeast Oklahoma, filled with people who love and care about each other, but also know everybody’s business. This is a family and town centric series about people who come together when times are tough, who learn to love each other despite the odds against them, and whose passion for life get them through the dark times. It’s a series about second chances at love, first loves reunited, and finding love when and where you least expect it.

Welcome to fervent dreams, fiery passions and love everlasting.

Welcome to Hope, Oklahoma.

The Wild Riders Series

The Wild Riders series are hot and sexy stories about a group of Harley riding bad boys who work undercover for the Federal government. They were recruited as teenagers by General Grange Lee, who took them out of bad situations and turned them into tough, honorable men. There are six men who as boys were all thrust into this situation together and forced to rely on each other. He educated them, made them stronger, and made them realize there was nothing they couldn’t achieve. Now they use the skills they learned on the streets to keep their country safe by any means possible.

I love the Wild Riders. This has been one of my favorite series to write. Because I introduced all the guys in the first book, Riding Wild, I got a chance to really get to know them all, and couldn’t wait to write all their stories. They’ve all had rough pasts that have scarred them in some way, and if anyone is deserving of love, it’s these men. Oh, and Jessie, too, because she’s the one female Wild Rider tough enough to ride with them.
