I Think We’ve Had Enough Rain Now

Click on the pictures to make them bigger. You really have to see these up close.

The is a shot of our front yard leading to our neighbor’s yard. Yikes. We need a boat.

No, that’s not a lake. That’s our next door neighbor’s front yard after last night’s storm. We’re saturated and he’s at the end of the street. The ditch is full and the water has nowhere to go.

It’s still raining. :chair:

Thank You!

I’m home! I’m tired, there was no food in my house so I had to go to the grocery store, and I had to go to the vets office today to pick up my pups (missed them!!!). It really is nice to be home.

Thank you to everyone who posted on the blog with notes of sympathy, as well as those who emailed. Your thoughts and prayers meant so much to me. It’s always nice to know you have friends. It made the past several days so much warmer and easier to bear. Thank you so much!

Big thanks to Angie for posting the release information for Wild, Wicked & Wanton. Couldn’t do it without you, babe. Love you.

And thanks to those who’ve bought the book. I hope you enjoy it. I’ll be back around tomorrow or so to share some rockin reviews.

Life goes on.

Hugs and kisses!

My Mom

Hey y’all!

Thank you so much for all the well wishes.

Sadly, my mother passed away yesterday.

She was 85 years old, not in the best of health and had been in an assisted living center for the past year and a half. She was always a spry go getter, but pneumonia and congestive heart failure finally wore her down and she couldn’t fight anymore.

I’m really glad I got up here in time to hold her hand and be there with her, along with my brother and sister, while she went. And I got to talk to her the day before.

It was her time, and I’m okay. I appreciate your good thoughts and prayers.

I’ll be offline for several days but will be back mid part of next week.

Thanks so much everyone
