The Right Behind Contest

Since everyone seems to be at the RT convention but me, I think I might have to do some giveaways…providing y’all are still around and lurking.

So who’s still around and lurking? Come on…show of hands here. I’ll draw some winners from those who post daily on my blog. I think I’ll give away some of my books. Y’all like books, don’t you? Hmmmmmmm?

Pop on in and tell me what you’re doing this week while others are off partying their butts off at the Romantic Times convention in Houston.

I’m plotting Demon on the Run, my next Demon Hunters book, and of course getting ready for the imminent release of Wild, Wicked and Wanton.

And for those who dig contests, Angie is having a Left Behind (as opposed to Right Behind, so to avoid copying her contest name, that’s what I’ve decided to call mine :giggle:) contest on her blog. She’s got some awesome giveways so go check it out!

  2. I didn’t go to RT either. I’m just at work all this week. I couldn’t afford to go, plus I started a new job in March and can’t take any time off for 6 months.

  4. I have been working hard on my book Going Wild, this first sex scene is a killer taking me forever to write it. lol Also its looking to be a long book (finally) since still on third chapter only.Doing some reading also during breaks.

  13. I’m still here. I’m hoping to make it to Pittsburgh next year.

    This Thursday, I’m holding my 3rd Annual Home Alone at the Cave Party over at the EC readers chat group. So my butt will be in the chair all day tomorrow to entertain folks and give away prizes.

    Other than that, it’s writing as usual.

  14. I’m here. That’s too far away for me. I’ve got a short story to finish by the end of the month, another one to start revising and one that I should work on period since I wanted to pitch it to HQ at a writing conference I’m attending up here in two weeks. I have no idea how to even pitch something and since it’s not done I’m wondering if I should pitch it at all.

  18. Well, I’m still here. Not being in the business means I don’t have all these fabulous conventions to attend.

    And as for my plans, well, I just finised reading the ARC for Diana’s Under the Rose, which means I can now pick up Surviving Demon Island and dive into it! Whee!!

    Me! I’m still here! I went to Rt Con 2006 last year in Daytona (I think I’m still recovering) and I’ll probably go to Pittsburgh next year.

    I saw Angie’s Left Behind contest. Great prizes but the sistah expects us to WORK for it!!

    No Capt Bob and I didn’t get to go to RT this year. Too much going on with me back in corporate land and him managing both shops. Maybe next year. I don’t much miss all the hub-bub but I sure do miss visiting with my pals!

    I finally finished the yard today. Potted the last plant, plugged the last flower in the front beds, even have the herbs done.

    It’s pretty and colorful…kinda colorful, it will be more so when everything grows up and blooms… :cheer:

    Now it’s time to sit back and relax…

    oh and do :laundry: , clean house and all the other things I let slide while getting the yard into shape… :hide: …I don’t even want see the dust bunnys in the house I’ve been taking off my glasses as soon as I walk in so everything is in soft focus… :evilha:

    RT take me away from the mess…oh wait, I’m not going to RT this year… :oops:

  38. No RT for me. Even if I could afford it I work in a school so timing sucks lol.

    I’m also crazy busy with the local theatre group. I’ve been doing make up and hair for the play that’s going on right now (Guys and Dolls) … so at least I’m keeping busy! (I’d still love to be able to go to RT lol)
