What gives you the heebie-jeebies? What makes chills break out all over your body and makes you shiver?

Here’s what scares me–the feeling that something or someone is behind me, then turning around and finding….nothing. *heebie-jeebie dance*. That makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. :hide:

And basements. I grew up with a basement. A really large, very dark, scary ass basement. Still don’t care for them. Don’t have one now…don’t care if I ever have one again. :chair:

And I’m really not at all fond of being alone at night. Good thing Charlie doesn’t travel often.

The odd thing is, I *heart* horror movies. Hate them, but love them. Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Fog…blood, gore, scare-the-shit-out-me kind of movies? Love them. Go figure. :popcorn:

What scares you?

Okay so it’s Monday and time for the weekly to do list. I made my writing goal last week (yayyyy!) so I’m wicked happy about that, especially since one crisis after another and lots of errand running conspired against me last week.

I’m expecting to talk to my Berkley editor this week about Wild, Wicked and Wanton edits, so I hope to make some progress on Wild Nights before that.

Here’s my to do’s for the week:

1. 10,000 words on Wild Nights

2. Research and plotting on next demon hunters book

3. Make appt for dogs at groomer (no, I still haven’t done that yet.)

4. Remind everyone that I have an Ellora’s Cave release this week. Hey everyone, I have an EC release this Wednesday! DEMAND TO SUBMIT! hehehe

5. Seriously…promote EC release this week. Check out the blurb and excerpt here

Time for the to do list again.

A Demon Is Forever is gone. Shipped off to my editor at Bantam. Off my desk. I can’t touch it anymore. You have no idea how much this nauseates me. I really hope she likes it. Let the angsting begin.

But now that ADIF is finished I’m onto my next project – Wild Nights – my Berkley HEAT novella. Wooo hooo! Sex! :boobie:

The To Do List for this week:

1. 7,500 words on Wild Nights
2. Monthly website updates
3. Post office – bleh
4. Make appt for pups at groomer
5. Bio and info page for EC book
