It’s been a great week! I finished my proposal and turned it into my agent. Now I wait. And go back to writing. But always nice to get something off my desk and onto someone else’s :giggle:

And Shelley Bradley’s upcoming book, Decadent (written under Shayla Black) has new cover goodness. I was privileged to be asked for my first cover quote for this book, which I was delighted to do. This book rocks, and so does the cover. Check it out!

Another week has zoomed by.

We had warm weather this week. 60 degrees yesterday, melting a ton of the ice around here. And now today it’s cold again with a forecast for a mix of rain and snow. Mother nature needs to quit screwing with me. It’s pissing me off and making me cranky.

So I’m working on a bookmark order for Wild, Wicked & Wanton. The draft looks VERY cool. Hopefully I’ll have a finished product to show you all soon. And then I’ll start mailing them out to anyone who wants them. I also worked on some promotion and advertising this week for the book. Amazing how much time that sucks up. No, it’s not all about writing. There’s so much more to do besides that.

Must work on Born To Be Wild. I need someone to stand behind me and kick my ass so I’ll work faster. Of course it would help if my characters would stop having sex. Oh wait. Their supposed to have sex. Never mind. :giggle:

Of course it would help my word count to write more. Can I help it that there’s so much great stuff on television? I’m hooked on some great shows. Like Greys Anatomy, CSI, Ugly Betty, American Idol, Men in Trees….

So this being a new year and all, I’m thinking of making a few changes to what I blog about. I like doing my To Do list on Mondays. It helps me when I refer back to it, and hopefully spurs others to get one going. It’s all about organization, ya know.

And I do enjoy Thursday Thirteen. It gets me out of my rut of visiting the same blogs over and over, or not getting out and visiting blogs at all. I learn so much about people doing the TT, so I’ll continue that on Thursdays.

But there are other things I’m thinking about blogging. So I’m interested in opinions from those of you out there who read my blog. What do you like to see in blogland? I’m thinking of talking about promotion, because it’s near and dear to my heart and I think it’s key for authors. And I love to talk about books I’ve read and books coming out and the buzz about books because face it–we’re all readers. I want to have some guest authors on here to talk about some interesting topics like promo and the writing process too, because everyone does it differently. I’ve also been cooking a lot lately (my stress relief) and I’ve got some great recipes. I might start posting some of those.

So tell me, bloggers….toss out some topics you’d like me to talk about. Anything interesting or intriguing you that you don’t see discussed, anything you want me to talk about, anything you think is talked to death and if you see it on another blog you’re going to tear your hair out?
