So today is my anniversary. This is my second marriage, and Charlie and I have been married 5 years today.
I’ll let you all in on a little secret. Charlie is in every hero in every book I’ve ever written. He’s in Derek in Surviving Demon Island too. The adventure seeker, the man who looks fear in the face and laughs at it. The man who takes risks, who isn’t afraid to put his life on the line for what he believes–that’s my husband. I love a man who stands up for himself. I love you babe. Happy Anniversary :heart:
So post today and tell me what you love best about heroes. What qualities turn you on and make you root for them? Is it physical prowess, the way they look, the way they act toward the heroine? Do they have to be perfect? Me, I like my men to have flaws but there has to be something about them that draws me. I like a man to be strong and capable, to know he can take care of himself…and of me, if the situation warrants.
