I know I haven’t been here much these days. Life is busy. Work is busy. I suppose busy is a good thing because it keeps me writing books, but I hate to be neglectful. So for the next couple weeks I’ll pop on here periodically and make it up to you by giving you the chance to win some books. Some will be mine, some will be others books. And I might even throw in a surprise here and there, so stay tuned.

If you’ve ever been to Pioneer Woman’s website, it is full of amazing, colorful recipes (among other things, including pictures and blog posts about her life on the ranch). I love her blog. It’s so funny and warm and it’s obvious she loves her life and her family.
I went to her booksigning for her debut cookbook, and it was mobbed with people. She’s incredibly popular, and since I’ve made many of her recipes, I know why. This cookbook is gorgeous. Not only filled with amazing recipes and pictures, but also insights into life on the ranch. You’ll love it.
