So the good thing about an ice and snow storm keeping me housebound for several days? I finished the rewrite of Hunting the Demon. :whoo: Sent it off to my editor last night for her perusal. :hide: Let’s hope she likes it so I don’t have to go to version 3.0.

In the meantime I have two more books I need to start on. Eeek!

I’m planning a rather fun to do list for the week. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to read a couple fabulous ARCs and I’ll be blogging about those this week. I’m also going to do a contest for Surviving Demon Island, so stay tuned.

So here’s the To Do list for this week:

1. Start Born To Be Wild – Berkley Heat single title. Yippeeee, something new! :boobie:

2. Blog about two awesome ARCs I’ve finished – Colleen Gleason’s The Rest Falls Away and Jackie Kessler’s Hells Belles.

3. Gear up for the Demon Island 12 Days of Christmas Contest! :holiday4:

5. Wrap

6. Finish Shopping

But it’s December and there are only 21 days left until Surviving Demon Island releases! And I’m excited and nauseated!

So what’s on your To Do list this week?

Then the Arctic cold front dropped in for a visit

And we had about 16 hours of raining ice, followed by about 10 hours of snow.

The pictures are pretty, but the roads are crap. Schools have been closed for two days. Of course Charlie cleaned off one of the cars this morning to go into work to do a couple things, then he’s going to his mom’s to check on her. He doesn’t recognize ‘stay off the roads’.

We had a really long Thanksgiving weekend. I did NOTHING writing productive. Nada. Zip. Zero.

But I really think I needed the rest and recharge. Been burning both cylinders for months and months and I was approaching burnout.

But Charlie was off work for 5 whole days, which is extremely unusual, and I wanted to spend that time with him, not working. So we ate, we took some bike rides, did a ton of Christmas shopping, went out to eat, I cooked a turkey, we watched college football (OU Sooners won!), went to the movies and saw Deja Vu (Denzel still rocks!) and just generally relaxed. It was nice. Really nice.

This week it’s crack the whip on revisions, though. Gotta get Hunting the Demon finished and out the door.

Back to the To Do List:

1. Hunting the Demon Revisions

2. Work on Christmas Card List

3. Start wrapping gifts for shipping

4. Stalk UPS man at front door (hehehe…lots of stuff should start arriving this week. I *heart* internet shopping).
