I love holiday novellas. They really get me in the mood for the holidays, and make me want to start all those dreaded tasks like Christmas shopping and putting the tree up and think about all those things most of really don’t want to start thinking about, like what’s the best gift for someone?
Shannon and I both have holiday novellas out this month. So we were thinking…what’s the perfect gift we would give to each other?
I already know what I’d give to Shannon. In addition to writing some outstanding holiday novellas –check out her blog post all about her holiday novellas here…Shannon writes the amazing Kowalski series. If you haven’t read it yet, you should. But if there’s one word that’s been known to be used heavily in that series, it’s Doom. They have the water volleyball game of doom, the ATV ride of doom, the marshmallow roasting contest of Doom. Whatever sporting event or competition occurs in a book, ‘Doom’ gets attached to the end of it.
So if I were to get a Christmas gift for Shannon, it would have to be this:

I know everyone was excited about the ARCs for Hope Flames. I was, too. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to delay the giveaway of the ARCs because Berkley is moving the release date for Hope Flames to January of 2014. I’m really bummed about this, as I’m sure you are, too.
