Okay bloggers, you’re always so helpful when I need a title, and I need a title.
I just contracted a new book with Samhain Publishing, and my current title…sucks. So I’ll need to retitle this book, and the well has run dry. This is a contemporary romance. Not erotic. It’s very fun and romantic.
Anyone whose title I choose or who suggest a title close to the final title of the book will win a $10 gift certificate from Samhain Publishing.
Helpppp!!!!
Below is a short working blurb for the story:
Lucy Fairchild, lawyer and heiress to the Fairchild fortune, has just had the worst day of her life. Her father has found the perfect man for her to marry. As if she needed a matchmaker. Yes, she’s thirty and single, but that doesn’t give her father the right to run her life. She’ll choose her own husband—some day.
Jake Dalton is struggling to make his fledgling construction company a success, ever mindful of his father’s derogatory comments that he’d never amount to anything. Jake has spent his entire life trying to prove to himself that he’s not a failure.
Lucy and Jake butt heads from their first meeting at his construction site. She rails at his men for harassing her when she’s merely walking by to get to the coffee shop. He insists they were merely complimenting her. Their argument escalates into a dare for a date—a romantic game of chicken ensues, and both are too stubborn to flinch. The date is on and both have something to prove. To each other, and maybe to themselves. But are they using each other, or are there genuine feelings developing?

Titles should be simple and tight.
To me “UNDER CONSTRUCTION” says it all.
Good luck!
