And since it’s all about ME! ME! ME! today :giggle that means you have to make it all about me. I’m going to give 5 people the chance to win one of my books. Any book you’d like (providing of course that the book has already been released.) Oh and also tell me what kind of cake you’re going to have today to celebrate my birthday.

Okay, now on to the cake time…
Hummm… I would start out with a mixture of Strawberry and Vanilla batter and swirl them together. Then for your frosting… I would do the same… Swirl them. Then I would edge the cake with those pretty thing that cake people do (yea, you can tell I do not do this on a regular basis, lmbo)… in red frosting! And of course… We would have to include some edible lace on there some where!!!!

as for the cake: try the original Vienna Sachertorte - I would describe it as yummy and delicious and wiki says: “The cake consists of two layers of dense, not overly sweet chocolate cake (traditionally a sponge cake) with a thin layer of apricot jam in the middle and dark chocolate icing on the top and sides. It is traditionally served with whipped cream.” *sigh* can I have a piece of your cake?? please??

I don’t bake cakes like I did when the kids were young. In fact, they preferred cupcakes way back then. Today we tend to have brownies whenever possible, so in (belated) honor of your birthday, tonight I’ll make a double batch of brownies. Happy Birthday!
NOTHING PERSONAL grabbed my attention today. Perhaps it is because the heroine is an office assistant, and I’ve been a paid secretary since I was 15 years of age. (OMG! That’s 35 years! It’s about the same length of time I’ve been reading romance books!) Perhaps it’s because she’s a “shy virgin”. I haven’t read many of THOSE lately, LOL! No matter the reason, this book definitely caught my eye (and more, LOL!).
