Four great prizes as well as daily prizes in a month long contest!
Contest details after the jump:
For visual purposes, here’s the Purse from Harley Davidson that’s part of the big prize giveaway:

The purse is awesome. There are tiny skulls in the fabric. I love it. It will be difficult to give this purse away. You know how much I love skulls. Heh.
HOW TO ENTER
Copy the code (click on ’share’) of the graphic above and post it to your blog, Facebook, Myspace, Website, whereever you want to share it. Add a link to my blog from your blog, Facebook, Myspace, wherever you put the graphic, and say “Click here to enter The Riding On Instinct contest”.
Come back here and reply to this post with a link to your blog entry or wherever you’ve posted the graphic and your answer to the following question: If you could hop on a motorcycle, where would you go?
If for some reason you are unable to post the graphic, don’t worry. Just blog about my contest or post about it on Facebook or Myspace or in a group somewhere. Just tell me where you’ve posted about it and provide a link to it, even if I can’t go there to check it out. But the first preference is to share the link. That’s what this contest is all about. It’s how I want to get the word out not only about the contest, but about RIDING ON INSTINCT.
I will draw the Grand Prize Winners on April 6th. Everyone who enters here (enters correctly, that is), will be eligible to win one of the 4 prizes listed in the graphic above. Authors are eligible too, so play along!
DAILY PRIZES TOO!
I’m also going to be giving away prizes every day (Monday through Friday) during the contest. So March 9th through April 6th, I’ll give away a prize every single day (except weekends). Be sure to come here every day to enter. I’ll not only be giving away some of my books, I’ll also be giving away books from some of my favorite authors. And some of my favorite authors have offered up ARCS of their books. I’ll be giving away ARCs from Maya Banks, Lauren Dane, Jeri Smith Ready, Sydney Croft, Charlene Teglia, and HelenKay Dimon. So come back daily!
And you’ll have to return the next day to see if you’ve won the previous day’s contest. This contest is going to be incredibly time consuming, so I won’t have time to hunt down winners. If you win here, I’ll post your name. You’ll have a few days to contact me. If you don’t I’ll redraw a new winner.
The Rules and Other Things
You must be at least 18 to enter! By entering this contest you’re saying that you are at least 18 years of age. RIDING ON INSTINCT is an erotic romance. Some of the other books I’ll be giving away are erotic romance. You must be 18 to win. Period.
I’m afraid I cannot purchase GCs for book retailers outside of the U.S. So if the prize winner for the bookstore of your choice is outside the U.S., we’ll figure something out. Also, most of the book a day winners prizes will be shipped directly from Amazon because I’m lazy and don’t want to accumulate a month’s worth of books to mail out and I hate the post office. Heh. But don’t worry if you’re an international reader, because I like everyone to be involved and eligible, even my international readers. So if you win and you live outside the U.S., we’ll make it work somehow.
You can win more than one book. I will draw randomly. Whoever wins, wins. I have no control over that. So if your number comes up more than once, lucky you!
You must answer the posed question in your reply to be entered. This is supposed to be fun!
Other authors are totally eligible to enter. Authors are readers too, after all.
Just don’t forget to a) Share the graphic above, b) Come back here and link to where you shared the graphic, and c) Answer the question: If you could hop on a motorcycle, where would you go?
(Note: Some contest verbiage here blatantly stolen from the fabulous Anya Bast because she did her contest so well and I’m lazy and hey, why mess with perfection?)
This post will stay first on my blog all month long, so be sure to look below for the daily contests!
Good luck!
Edited to Add: Please be patient if you post a comment and it doesn’t appear right away. My blog has a tendency to want to moderate some comments or dump them into spam. I’m on it and i’ll pull them out of moderation or spam and make sure they get posted!

when you hop on a motocycle i feel you should just follow the road … enjoy the wind blowing in your hair, the scenery passing you by … only stop when you have to … i think it is more of an adventure if you don’t map it out, because you have a set plan but if you don’t you will never know where that wrong turn can take you ..

by Julie Anderson (aka jjmachshev) March 12th, 2009 at 7:41 pmHi Jaci! Sorry, not a big motorcycle fan, but I promised my hubby to sit on his this summer, with the potential to go up and down the driveway. (I trust him, just not the other drivers). However, after reading this series, it makes me more likely to take a drive on the back of DH’s motorcycle further than the driveway. (driveway=10 acres). As for where I’d go…. California, baby!
by Christine M. March 17th, 2009 at 8:01 amI posted the link on my facebook page. As a newbie to facebook I’m not really sure how to post the link though. You can search by my real name though, I think I’ll come up then.
As for the question…where would I go if I could jump on a motorcycle and ride?
My first destination would be Highway 1 on the West Coat just north of San Francisco. That road just screams to be ridden on a bike. The curves, the cliffs, the surf…it is meant to be enjoyed on a bike. You need to hear the rustling of the leaves on the trees, you need to feel the wind coming off the surf, you need to smell the ocean. You can only do that if you are out in the elements itself riding atop a big bike. The sound of the engine purring between your legs, the smell of the surf, the sound of the ocean…that is where I would go. But, as the saying goes, it’s not the destination, it’s the journey. So, the ride there would have to include the north rim of the Grand Canyon, cruising down the strip in Vegas, gawking at all the people on Venice Beach and then finally making it to San Francisco and the cliffs just north of it.

Where would I go on a motorcycle? The beach! Any beach. Too bad I can’t get to Hawaii from Texas but maybe I could ride the bike to the airport and then go to Hawaii.

If I could hop on a motorcyle, I’d want to start with a trip to Sturgiss. That’s like, ultimate biker goodness. Then there’s the March of Dimes ride that starts in Kansas City. I’m sure if I looked, I could find a ride for most any weekend of the year. So I’d probably just drive around the country raising money for charities.

I Facebooked the widget! (you know, 5yrs ago no one would have understood that at all!)
I am originally from WI, home of the Harley, and I adore purses and bags! But I LOVE to read, too! lol
I agree that Coast Hwy in Cali is Harley heaven. However, I have never seen the Northwest coast and I think it would be a sensational ride in the summer months. I’d love to go through the redwoods, on up through Oregon, Washington and Canada, only stopping when I reach my friend’s house in amazing Alaska!
The ever-changing landscape would never get boring, and there would be cities, towns and tiny-but-interesting burgs to roll through. We’d ride, get off and eat at some fabulous local BBQ joints and cafes, sleep wherever we landed and take a million pictures of our journey.
I think one can experience the people and the essence of the areas a bit more personally on a cycle; smell the ocean and the tree sap, feel the mist on your cheeks on the cloudy days, the sun on the hot ones, and the wind in your face as incredible vistas fly by while hugging a hot, hard man in front of me. What better ride than THE ride? (I’m refering to the bike, of course…no, really ).
It would be the ride of a lifetime. Thanks for the lovely contest and for sending me on a mini-vacation in my mind!

I live not 15 to 20 min from sturgis so I get enough of that every year. I would go to Washington state vist my sister then head down to California and visit my Dad. A coastal trip on a bike in the summer or fall is fun. Althought a Ride throught the Black Hills in The summer (kinda warm with leather) or the fall (very colorful and cool) can be amazing in its self. We sometimes forget whats in our own back yard with all the wonders to be had.

by sena March 18th, 2009 at 9:57 amand I would love to ride the bike by the beach. That would be fun!
My favorite vacation was when we took a cruise - you can stay on board with tons to do, do nothing at all, or take some wonderful side trips and you don’t have to worry about suitcases or finding something good to eat. And it could be to anywhere!

by Michelle (MG) March 18th, 2009 at 8:19 pmOh shoot, forgot to answer the question. If I hopped on a motorcycle I would likely want to go through a large stretch with nothing, but fields and mountains on either side. I think there was a scene in Bird on a Wire like that (it was filmed where I live). Or perhaps it was a different movie, but I remember the scene and that’s where I’d go. How’s that for a convoluted answer! LOL
by Michelle (MG) March 18th, 2009 at 8:35 pmIf you could hop on a motorcycle, where would you go? to Cypress Hills for some peace and quiet (we camp there every summer)
by bina edwards March 20th, 2009 at 11:09 amand you can always purchase amazon.ca gift CODES (send the code via email to the winner) and that way someone from canada, could still purchase books (which I love to do lol)
I am not a big motorcycle fan - but maybe a trip to the beach would be ok.
by Karen Triolo March 20th, 2009 at 7:46 pmIf I could hop on a motorcycle, I would probably just ride. No place in particular. I posted the widget on my yahoo page.

If I could get on a motorcycle and just drive, I would head to Los Alamos, NM and Los Gatos, CA (near San Fran) where I have family. I’ve never been further west than Texas, and I was under 5 years old when I lived there. I’d love to see the Grand Canyon, Sequoia National Park, and the Rockies which is as different as you can get from small town New England.
Jaci, I’m currently reading Riding Wild and I’m loving it!
by Katy M. March 24th, 2009 at 4:41 pmHey Jaci!
