Happy New Year! Yes, I’m a day late with wishes. I spent yesterday vegetating, watching football and making soup. I don’t think I even combed my hair. I hope you all enjoyed your New Years celebrations, and I wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2013.
I wanted to let you all know that I’ll be participating in a new blog. Romancing The Jock launched yesterday. It’s a blog by romance authors who love sports and the men who play them. We’ve launched with a contest featuring awesome prizes, so head on over and meet all the authors participating, and enter the launch contest for a chance to win.
Do you all make goals or resolutions for the new year? I typically try not to make resolutions, because I tend to blow them by February. But I am going to try to be more physically active this year, especially since writing requires a lot of time sitting on my butt, which isn’t healthy for me. I also need to do a lot more reading. I love my job, but it sucks up much of my time, and the main reason I became a writer was because I loved reading. I didn’t do nearly as much reading last year as I would have liked. So as far as goals, those are my two biggest. More exercise and more reading. What are yours for this year?

I want to be more organized this year and eat healthier – I need to watch what I eat and do more exercising – not just because I want to loose weight but because now that I’m a diagnosed diabetic it’s time to grow up and eat healthier….sigh
i made a resolution to not make a resolution, since I always break them
.
That said, I really need to exercise more ( and find a job) this year.
I don’t make resolutions, I never keep them. I try to do better with things that need to be changed. Hopefully that make for a good year.

I don’t usually make resolutions. So for the past 2 months I have been aiming to do more exercise, and eat more helthy. So far I’ve been keeping up with exerciseing for 20-30 min 4-5 days a week. I’m still figuring out the eating more healthy-especially since I cook for 6. Trying to figure out how to do it for the family with out kids spitting things out lol. So here it is, this year I have decided to be more organized. I’m also trying to have a better handle on the family bank book, so I know where it’s all going. UGH! it will not be easy, but the advice I’ve gotten is to make lists, so I can better see the plan. I’m pretty good at making lists, and I have started a 52 week To-Do list. Here we go, by starting with small victories. I do hope to read more as well. Signed up for GoodReads 2013 Reading Challenge (Trying for 115). Happy New Year Jaci!
