March 19th Book Giveaway

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN

My friends are brilliant writers. I have a core group of bff’s that I’ve known for a lot of years, that I share my ups and downs with, and their ups and downs with. I know their writing, and I’m very lucky to be surrounded by such talented authors.

One of those authors is Shannon Stacey. Her talent and voice astounds me, keeps me mesmerized no matter what genre she writes in. (and she writes in several). But my favorite series of hers is the Devlin Group, a wicked awesome, fast past, action adventure suspense series. Think spies and undercover stuff and secrets and blowing shit up and falling in love amidst the chaos and you’ll have her Devlin Group.

Today I’m offering up Adrenaline, which is a two for one treat. Two books in one print volume:
adrenaline_med

72 Hours:
Grace Nolan walked away from the Devlin Group carrying Alex Rossi’s child in her womb and his bullet in her shoulder. But a ghost from the past has kidnapped her son, Danny. The ransom—Alex Rossi. To get her son back, Grace will have to step back into the life she’d left behind and reveal her secret to Alex.

With vengeance for his mother’s murder nearly at hand and a deadly substance on the loose, the last thing Alex Rossi needs is to find himself at the business end of Grace’s gun. Now the clock is ticking as they race to save a child and stop a madman bent on destruction.

But Alex has a secret of his own, and it may be the ultimate betrayal.

On The Edge:
When an explosion rocks the Devlin Group, two agents must risk everything to save them all.

Tony Casavetti emerges from an undercover assignment only to be summoned to NYC by Charlotte, the Devlin Group’s executive administrator. But when he arrives, he finds out she may be ruthlessly efficient, but his assumption about her being matronly was dead wrong.

Charlotte Rhames has it all—looks, wealth, and the respect she craved. But an attack on the Devlin Group throws her back into the pit of sex, money, and murder she’d crawled out of.

With Tony’s life at stake, how far is she willing to fall?

For a chance to win ADRENALINE, tell me your favorite action/adventure/secret agent hero. It could be from books or tv or movie. I’d have to say right now I think Matt Damon is killing as Jason Bourne. Awesome action in those movies.

Please don’t panic if your comment doesn’t appear right away. Some comments are being moderated and I’ll grab them and release them.

Because my blog is being a giant pain in the ass and holding comments in moderation and in spam and it takes me a bit to go find them, I’m going to choose winners at the end of every week, on Saturday, instead of every day. So check back every Saturday to see if you’re one of the weekly book winners. Because I’m not going to hunt the winners down. You have to come here to see if you’ve won and then contact me with your info (Other than ARCS being sent by the authors offering them, I’ll be shipping all the winning books directly from Amazon). Otherwise, come back every day for a new book giveaway. And don’t forget the grand prize contest plus all the rules about the daily contest giveaways here

Secret agent, that’s a tough one, but I would have to say Sean Connery’s James Bond.

Although, if I’m being really honest, I love the old Get Smart TV show, so Maxwell Smart is my absolute favorite.

Fave secret agents? I do like Daniel Craig’s Bond. Very edgy and not all that nice.

I think I like to read about the bad boys because I have such a sweetie of a hubby. It is something different.

I haven’t seen any of the Bourne movies yet. Yes, I know I’m bad. 🙂 So I would have to pick Nicolas Cage in the National Treasure Movies. I figure just the fact that I want to see them again is a plus. I tend to only watch a movie once because there are so many out there and I’d rather be reading. 😉 But, I really liked these. I also liked the tie-in with American history.
